a career spanning over fifteen years, Rachel Schwartz is an accomplished
public affairs specialist with more than a decade of experience in
community, government and foreign relations.
Her expertise lies in building, maintaining and managing strategic,
successful high-profile programs and relationships, with a track record of
extraordinary achievements. As
founder of PRAdvantEDGE, Schwartz partners with clients and plays an
active role in formulating strategic, long-term communications, community
relations, public affairs, advocacy, and marketing programs for clients,
as well as high-profile innovative program development and administration
projects. Prior
to forming her company, Ms. Schwartz was the Director of International
Relations and Leadership/Board Development at the Prior
to joining the AJC, Ms. Schwartz was a legislative and policy analyst at the
California Newspaper Service Bureau (CNSB) where she successfully
intercepted, tracked and assessed new legislation and its public and
organizational fiscal impact for the company.
While at CNSB, Schwartz researched and prepared opposition
arguments and drafted alternate language to fight numerous proposed bills
attacking legal advertising laws. Her legislative tracking
department monitored and coordinated the progress of hundreds of bills
annually while prioritizing high-impact legislation for appropriate
action.
Ms. Schwartz also took the unprecedented step of turning the
legislative affairs department into an income-producing division by
identifying and reporting on legislation with the potential to produce
advertising and social marketing revenue. This initiative produced several
hundred thousand dollars...in its implementation year. Ms.
